► (junior) Engineer

(fulltime, 36 hours)

For the Engineering/Service/R&D department of Lankhorst Touwfabrieken Dordrecht we are looking for a junior engineer.

Content of the function

  • Providing technical support to our customers, internal sales and production departments;
  • Elaboration and development of internal production and testing procedures;
  • Maintaining and archiving technical data and reports in the digital archive;
  • Accepting and supervising service-related assignments (inspection/repair, both internally and externally);
  • Technical assessment of complaints and monitoring the internal follow-up;
  • Providing technical advice and training to customers on location.

What do we ask from you

  • HBO/MBO+
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
  • Broad technical insight;
  • Ability to work accurately and independently in a dynamic work environment;
  • Flexible working attitude;
  • Inquisitive and hands-on;
  • Experience in the rope and/or steel cable industry is an advantage.

► Customer Service Employee / Administratief Medewerker Binnendienst

(fulltime, 36 hours)

For the Inside Sales department in Dordrecht we are looking for a customer service employee.

Content of the function

  • Entering, checking and processing customer orders;
  • Tracking the order processing and delivery times and informing the customer about this;
  • Maintaining and archiving commercial administrative data in the system and digital archive;
  • Creating, checking and sending invoices and credit notes after approval;
  • Accepting and registering complaints, monitoring the internal follow-up;
  • Checking and creating certain declarations, certificates, customs and/or export documents at the request of the customer;
  • Answering telephone calls to customers in case of order-related matters and/or complaints;
  • Provide support to sales colleagues.

What do we ask from you

  • MBO work and thinking level;
  • At least three years of comparable work experience, preferably in an internationally operating company;
  • Good command of the English language;
  • Important qualities: customer focus, accuracy, problem solving ability, proactive, communicative.
