Lankhorst Ropes – COVID-19 Update
In these uncertain times caused by the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), I wanted to reach out to you personally about what we are doing here at Lankhorst Ropes to ensure we are able to provide you with an uninterrupted service.
 
Our top priority is the health and safety of our customers, suppliers and employees.
Thankfully no suspected cases of COVID-19 have been reported amongst our staff. Our manufacturing and warehouse facilities are still operating at full capacity and are well stocked with the materials we need to fulfil customer orders.
 
Supply Chain Readiness
Our supply chain continues to work well. We are monitoring our entire supply and are in frequent contact with our suppliers around the world to ensure they are taking proper precautions for their employees and supply chain. We continue to stress the importance of complete transparency to be able to mitigate risk. We also continue to develop alternative sources as backup, if needed.
 
Health and Safety 
Lankhorst Ropes is actively monitoring the WHO and Government websites and other sources regarding the coronavirus. Some of the steps we’ve taken to minimise the risk to our staff and customers include the following:
 
The strictest hygiene standards are being followed at all our sites, with hand sanitiser stations around the business, disinfectant sprays and alcohol wipes at workstations, and posters reminding staff to wash their hands regularly.
 
All non-essential business travel has been cancelled.
 
Customer Visits, Training and Rope Installation
To reduce the potential risk of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to postpone all customer visits and scheduled training sessions. We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and evaluate future plans on an on-going basis. We thank you for your support in this decision.
