Lankhorst Ropes Announces Strategic Stockpoint with Franklin Offshore in Singapore

International maritime ropes manufacturer, Lankhorst Ropes, has signed a joint alliance agreement with Franklin Offshore to hold stock and distribute its high quality fibre and steel wire ropes in Singapore, further consolidating Lankhorst’s relationship with the region’s leading integrated rigging and mooring systems supplier.

Lankhorst has a global network of rope and confectionery stockpoints within easy reach of major international shipping channels and ports. Vessels use the stockpoints as part of a scheduled mooring rope replacement programme or to replace a damaged rope. The Singapore stockpoint will offer Eurofloat Premium, Euroflex tails, Euroflex, and Tipto Winchline fibre mooring ropes as well as the Lankofour, a 4-strand, and Lankopack, a multi strand, non-rotating hoisting wires and Lankotop Compacted, an 8-strand luffing wire, for the use on vessel cranes.

In addition to managing the stocking and distribution of the mooring ropes, Franklin Offshore is also Lankhorst Ropes’ regional partner for Dyneema synthetic heavy lift slings in Asia.

In South Korea, Lankhorst’s mooring ropes agent is with Franklin Offshore Korea.
