After 20 years working for Lankhorst, I have decided to leave the company on December 1st and taking on a new challenge at the Callidus Group in Joure, the Netherlands. Callidus is a young, fast-growing company developing technology for the oil and gas industry.
In these twenty years with Lankhorst, I am pleased to say we have become the technical leader in the Maritime and Offshore markets. In addition, after the acquisition by WireCo, we were able to add a full program of steel wire products, allowing us to service our markets even better.
It has been an honor to lead this process, working with a fantastic group of people, customers and suppliers, and I am proud of what we have achieved in all these years. Who could have imagined a synthetic crane rope of 3,500 meter just 20 years ago?
My decision has been driven on a threefold: to be end responsible for an engineering company in the maritime and offshore industry, my believe that a different manager should fit better in the current organizational structure and, last but certainly not least, my wish to spend more time with my family.
As most of you are aware, I have always believed in doing business in a sustainable way. By promoting: People, Profit and the Planet. We have talented people at Lankhorst and I am proud that I’m leaving a fantastic group of individuals who will be servicing you in the future.
If any questions, please don’t hesitate to call me, I will keep my mobile number.
